Legionella Risk Assessments in the North West, Lancashire, Merseyside and Manchester
We currently offer Legionella Risk Assessments and control services in Manchester, the North West and the whole of the UK. Our clients include many hotels, schools, nurseries, health centres, restaurants, leisure centres, care homes, dental surgeries, office complexes, factories, warehouse/distribution centres and

- LEGIONELLA RISK ASSESSMENTS: Industry leading commercial and landlord Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8, HSG274 and BS8580 Standard. Our assessments are fully compliant with HSE and CQC guidance.
- LEGIONELLA SAMPLING: Microbiological samples taken and sent for analysis at an independent UKAS accredited laboratory.
- LEGIONELLA CONTROL: Routine water temperature monitoring, servicing, inspections and disinfections in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG 274.
- CLEANING AND DISINFECTION: Cold Water Storage Tank and Water Heater cleaning and disinfection.
- REMEDIAL SERVICES: Redundant pipe work removal, Tank replacement or removal and many other services.
Why?
Legionnaires' disease is caused by legionella bacteria. It is a potentially fatal form of pneumonia and everyone is susceptible to infection. Outbreaks of the illness occur from exposure to legionella bacteria growing in purpose-built systems where water is maintained at a temperature high enough to encourage growth.
Under the HSE guidelines, if you are an employer, self-employed or a person/company in charge of premises, you are responsible for ensuring that the risk of exposure to legionella in those premises is properly assessed and controlled. This requires all properties to have a Legionella risk assessment carried out to identify potential risks and outline ways to control that risk.
